The
Human Resource Department (HRD) of South Korea published the results of the Korean
Language Test (KLT) examinations -2011 on Tuesday.
A total of 50,043 applicants had attended KLT, the
gateway to job opportunities in South Korea last July.
Of the total applicants, only 15,298 aspirants passed
the exams, according to Krishanahari Karna, deputy
spokesperson of Labour Ministry.According to him,
13,298 applicants have been selected for production
related job and remaining 2,000 for agriculture sector.
Minister Mr Mohammad Aftab Alam and Secretary had re-new labor agreement
under Employment permit System (EPS). They will provide more job opportunities
for Nepali youth.
This year 2011, around 55-60,000 Nepali youths have submitted
application forms for the Korean Language Test (KLT) on the aged between 18 and
39 years. Forms was distributed on May 02 to 05 2011 at Employment Permit System
(EPS) service centers in Gaushala, Chyasal and Kirtipur in Kathmandu as well as
in Butwal outside the Capital.
Employment Permit System-Test of Proficiency
in Korean, EPS-TOPIK can be an objective selection criterion for foreign job seekers
who have basic knowledge about Korea and Korean language.
According to
the department, TOPIK applicants should attempt 25 questions in listening and
reading each, and secure 40 per cent marks out of 200 to pass the test. However,
the selection of job aspirants for EPS is solely based on merit.

can get their results along with mark sheet from South Korean government website.
